- Married to Betty for 42 years, Father of four with six grandchildren
- Born and raised on family farm near Readlyn, Iowa
- Showed Angus cattle as a 4-H kid in the 1950’s & 1960’s
- Earned a college degree in Business Administration & Physical Education
- Lifetime member of the American Angus Association since 1975
- Interests include Grandkids, Angus cattle, horses, and fishing
Rob Fanning, Show & Sale Cattle Manager
- Married to Heather
- Grew up in Cissna Park, Illinois
- 33 years experience showing & raising cattle
- Member of Joliet Junior College Judging Team for two years
- Earned a B.S. in Animal Science from the University of Illinois
- Freelanced for 15 years, fitting numerous champions from all breeds
- Interests include Angus cattle, sports, and golf
Dean P. Elder, Cow Herd Manager
- Engaged to C.J. Brown
- Father of a great son, Joshua Elder
- Grew up in Nichols, Iowa
- Grew up showing in 4-H
- Graduated from Kirkwood Community College
- Freelanced clipping and fitting until 1990
- Managed Southern Lights Farms, Silar Farms and Sullivan Farms before coming to Werner Angus
- Interests include St. Louis Cardinals baseball, raising club calves, politics
James Jones, Herdsman
- Married to Molly
- Grew up in Rapids City, Illinois
- Has always been interested in cattle
- Worked at seed corn plant for five years before joining Werner Angus
- Interests include woodworking and remodeling
Karen Lonergan, Accounting
- Married to Tom, Mom to Clara, Gracie and Luke
- Bill and Betty's oldest daughter
- Earned an undergraduate degree in Business and Speech Communication from Illinois State University
- Received a Master’s degree in Education from Pacific University
- Taught fourth grade before becoming a mommy and joining the family business
- Interests include reading, camping, and having fun with family and friends
